THE RISE OF AI
On May 2ND 2018 Google made history by making an AI that can directly speak to humans, well in the past there had been attempts like Sophia a full fledge AI robot who can speak to human give great replies and can think without the help of any assistance but it also can with robotic tone a toe that reminds us that it’s not a human. But this time it’s a different story that Google displayed. While depicting the advancements that were made in google assistant it showcased how it can call for an appointment when it’s told to do so. Till all was normal the real magic happened when google assistant pronounced words like hmm, oh ho in the conversation. The major catch this time was that the person didn’t recognize that it was a robot on the other side of the conversation. 
GLOBAL REACTION
The talk soon surfaced over social media and in a day the google assistant was crowned king virtual assistant. Well, the social sites both liked and disliked the idea of an assistant powered by an AI. The pros of the innovation made by Google were enormous and cannot be accounted in an article. But other also raised concerned “Whatever happens the other side is not a human. And it’s a fundamental right to know that he/she is talking to a person or a robot”. The statement got google attention too and it quickly made a statement “The person on the other side will be able to know that he/she talking to Google Assistant.
WHAT LED TO THE INNOVATION
Well the AI powering the Google Assistant is made by Google Deep Mind (Google Deep Learning & Neural Network division). In the early days, Google has shown it AI that it learned to walk on its own by avoiding the obstacle and even stated that ” It might know something that we don’t know”. The innovation that google made was not progressive but due sudden abduction of the market by Amazon’s ALEXA. Google pushed features after features in its assistant even featuring JHON LEGEND voice in its assistant.
SHOULD WE BE SCARED
With end of Google I/O 2018 there was very big reason to be scared we have standalone AI robots we witnessed how LEE SEDOL lost to Google DeepMind AI ALPHAGO the only thing that distinguished was our natural abilities to speak to sense to think, with Google who has push very hard to make a human like AI now only lacks a physical structure. It raised concerned that now humans will not be needed for any work because the smallest and the largest work can be done by this artificial beings that we are making. Conspiracy theorists even said that earth is close to be dominated by robots.
